This is a beautiful glass footed bowl or compote with gorgeous hand painted gold gilt intaglio decoration applied to the underside of the bowl. The piece is of Bohemian origin and attributed to Moser - it is unsigned, but most similar examples are cited as being by Moser. The piece has a top diameter of 6 1/8 and a height of 6 7/8, almost 7. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, only some wear to the gold in one area to the underside of the bowl. Despite the wear to the gold, this is a beautiful piece of glass with striking decoration, very elegant in form!
